Q: Do I need to bring cash?

A: We highly recommend you bring cash! Although the main gate takes cards, sometimes the service can be slow. Also, some vendors may not have the ability to take cards. To save you time and make sure you can get the amazing art and merch we have available at the festival, cash is your best bet.

Q: Can attendees leave and re-enter the festival grounds?

A: Yes, attendees may leave and re-enter the festival grounds throughout the event. When you come through the gate to re-enter, you just need to be able to show your wristband to the gate attendant.

Q: When and where is Synesthesia Music and Arts Festival?

A: Synesthesia Music and Arts Festival is a 2-Day, 3-Night gathering in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Synesthesia takes place over Labor Day Weekend. The venue is Bulldog Creek Campground, and the address is 21120 Pleasant Valley Rd, Sturgis, SD 57785. The venue is off of Exit 37.

Be aware to use Google Maps, as Apple Maps takes you to the wrong exit!

Q: Are there any specific camping guidelines or restrictions that attendees should know?

A: NO GLASS. No weapons. No wood fires.

Tent camping is included in the ticket price. An RV or cabin upgrade can be purchased through the campground, Bulldog Creek Campground. There will be two designated tent camping zones. One is shaded, closer to the second stage, and is quiet. The other is closer to the main stage and is not shaded. Attendees are expected to follow basic camping rules such as leaving no trace and do not disturb wildlife.

Q: Are all ages allowed?

A: Yes, we allow all ages, but our festival caters to 18+, for example, loud music, late nights, possible cuss words in the music, rave clothing, etc. Kids are welcome but MUST be with an adult at all times. There is no special pricing for children.
